African Youth And Community Organization

African Youth and Community Organization is a Portland nonprofit supporting African immigrant and refugee youth through culturally specific services in education, mentoring, and community engagement. AYCO empowers young people to succeed academically and socially while honoring their heritage. The organization offers after-school programs, college prep, and parent support to strengthen families and build leadership. AYCO partners with schools, government agencies, and cultural groups to improve access and equity. Rooted in the community it serves, AYCO helps bridge generational and cultural gaps while building a foundation for success.
